วิธีใช้: ออริกาโน จัดเป็นสมุนไพรที่มีประโยชน์ ใช้กันมาแต่โบราณ โดยเฉพาะกับอาหารสัญชาติ Mediterranean และ Mexican เป็นสมุนไพรที่มีกลิ่นหอมค่อนข้างเด่นชัด แม้ใช้เพียงเล็กน้อย เหมาะกับการหมักเนื้อสัตว์ เช่น ไก่, เนื้อวัว, แกะ และเข้ากันได้ดีกับอาหารที่มีมะเขือเทศ หรือน้ำมันมะกอก เป็นส่วนประกอบหลัก เช่น พาสต้า Bolognese, พาสต้า Aglio e Olio, พาสต้า Arrabbiata, พาสต้า Margherita, ทาโก้ กับ Salsaมะเขือเทศแดง, พิซซ่าหน้าต่างๆ (โดยเฉพาะหน้า marinara), อิตาเลียน vinaigrettes ฯลฯ.

• Oregano is useful for marinating chicken, lamb and beef.

• Oregano goes well with any tomato-based dish and any olive oil-based recipes to lift up the rich flavor of your dish such as Tagliatelle/Fettuccine/Penne Bolognese, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, Panne Arrabbiata, Spaghetti Margherita, Taco with salsa (Taco con salsa roja), any Pizza (particularly pizza marinara), Italian vinaigrettes and many more.
